JOSHUA
WITTMAN

Buyer Agent

Real Estate in Costa Rica

Originally from Oregon, Joshua is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Science Education and completed significant studies in business, mathematics, ecology, and language. He began his professional career in Central and South America in both Chile and Costa Rica teaching middle school math and science, he is fluent in English and Spanish. In addition, Joshua studied business at Gonzaga University.

 

Joshua left education in 2019 to pursue his interests in business, real estate, and investments, joining a team at RE/MAX CENTRAL in San Jose, Costa Rica. Joshua left RE/MAX in order to develop this elite team as he saw a need for specialists within the hotel niche in the country. His professional experience has made him skilled at developing relationships and is passionate about project design.

 

Joshua maintains enthusiasm for education and is excited to bring these two worlds together in the future. He continues to tutor at Country Day School in San Rafael de Alajuela.

RICARDO 
RODRÍGUEZ GIL

Property Assessment & Consulting

Ricardo graduated from Hotel Management and Tourism through Escuela Superior de Hostelería y Turismo, en Casa De Campo, Madrid, Spain. Adding to his expertise, he continued his studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.  

 

He has 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, both locally and internationally, working for several international brands such as Sheraton (Starwood Hotels & Resorts), Allegro Resorts (All-Inclusive), and Occidental Hotels & Resorts, and Hilton. For the past 21 years, he’s held the position of General Manager for the highly acclaimed Fiesta Resort in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. 

 

His experience also ranges through several management systems such as the All-Inclusive and the European Plan, including a wide variety of hotels from small boutiques to large resorts. Ricardo is currently in his second year of retirement however his passion for business is consulting and evaluating hotel projects and properties both in Costa Rica and internationally.

FRANCISCO 
CASTRO MADRIGAL

Property Assessment & Consulting

Francisco is a graduate of Business Administration from Texas A&M. His keen sense of diplomacy and international relations was obtained during his 16 years as Consul General of Costa Rica In Houston, Texas, and Miami, Florida with a focus on promoting trade and investments, as well as business development in Costa Rica. He was a member of Ultrapark Development Group Free Zone’s board of directors, overseeing the company’s development and growth whose mission is to satisfy the highest demands of national and international companies that want to settle in Costa Rica. In addition, he also was the General Manager of Joyeros Costarricenses, a company dedicated to exporting fine jewelry. During this time he managed over 500 employees and obtained recognition as Costa Rica’s biggest exporter in 1996. He has also managed other companies in the telecommunication field. Retired for 3 years, Francisco is currently dedicated to evaluating business development opportunities and is excited to be a key figure in our elite team.
